Naturopathic Medicine
Treating and healing from the inside out

As your integrative health providers, we offer Naturopathic medicine which can help focus on naturally occurring substances, minimally invasive methods, and the promotion of natural healing. Our Naturopathic Doctors focus not only on the symptoms but also the underlying conditions causing the symptoms. NDs specialize in treating and preventing chronic illnesses by looking at the root causes and addressing an individual as a whole person

Why Naturopathic Medicine?

  • Naturopathic Medicine strives to fill the missing links in healthcare offering ‘alternative’ and ‘adjunctive’ care.

  • As Naturopathic Doctors, we listen to you and teach you how to listen to your body and it's needs, an essential part of wellness.

  • We value individualized medicine where treatment is personalized to each unique patient

Our Standard Diagnostic Tools

Naturopaths are trained to: perform comprehensive physical examinations; order laboratory tests (including food allergy testing, functional hormone testing, SIBO testing, routine bloodwork, urine analysis, etc.); and interpret lab and imaging results.

Our Broad Range of Natural Treatments

Naturopathic Doctors use a wide range of natural treatments that allow ND’s to develop treatment plans that address not only the physical aspect of a person, but also the mental and emotional aspects. The naturopathic therapies are all based on the same principles – they all assist the body’s healing response, and they are often more effective when combined. Therapies can include: nutrition, botanical/herbal medicine, acupuncture, natural health products, homeopathy, and lifestyle counselling.

Our Philosophy

Naturopathic Doctors aim to identify and treat the underlying cause of a symptom or disease.  Instead of simply applying a “natural band-aid” to ease a symptom, naturopaths ask the question “why” and address the problem at the root.  You can expect to spend more time with your naturopath, as your ND will assess the function of your whole body to determine how symptoms may be connected or one body system may be affecting another.  The role of the ND is to help you return your whole body to balance and optimal function.  This method of addressing health provides a long-lasting resolution to health complaints and enables an individual to achieve optimal health and wellness.
